Surfing Forecast

While the beach thrives on the invigorating energy of winter swells, it’s a fickle mistress, only offering up its best when the conditions align. A northerly wind is the key to unlocking Southbourne’s potential, allowing the waves to build with unhindered power. Both groundswells and windswells are equally likely to grace these shores, with the ideal swell direction coming from the southwest. The beach breaks, sculpted by the shifting sands, offer both lefts and rights, providing a diverse playground for surfers of all skill levels.
