Hey there, fellow sports enthusiasts! If you’re excited about kitesurfing, you’re in for a treat with Marazion and Longrock. Nestled in the scenic South Cornwall, these locations offer fantastic kitesurfing conditions for both newbies and experienced riders alike. Whether you’re seeking thrilling adventures or just want to enjoy a tranquil outing by the beach, we’ve got you covered!

Longrock Beach is owned and carefully managed by the local authority, ensuring it’s well-kept for all who visit. One of the unique features of this beach is the reef that can provide shelter from waves, especially on lower tide states, creating perfect flat water conditions. Before you hit the waves, remember to explore the sandy stretch at low tide to spot any submerged rocks or small reefs.

Here’s a light-hearted heads-up: Longrock is a year-round dog beach, which means you might encounter some furry friends running around! Be mindful of this, especially if you’re setting up your gear. You wouldn’t want a curious pup to make a mess of your kite, right?

When planning your kitesurfing session, timing can make all the difference! At Longrock, it’s crucial to avoid the two-hour window before and after high tide. During this period, the beach gets a bit cozy with the railway track just a stone’s throw away. To avoid accidents (and potential bans!), make sure to plan your kiting session outside this timeframe.
