Bantham Surfing forecast

Bantham Surfing is not a sport, it’s a lifestyle.

Surfers Quick Guide, Perfecta Southwest swell combines with an offshore wind direction from the Northeast. Reliability:fairly consistent, Rating:4/5

Bantham in South Devon’s allure lies in its exposed river break that offers a consistent surf experience. Its geographical orientation makes it susceptible to reliable offshore winds from the northeast. The break benefits from a blend of groundswells and windswells, with the ideal swell direction originating from the southwest. Surfers can anticipate both left and right-breaking waves, which are best enjoyed during low tide. However, the popularity of this break means that when conditions are favorable, crowds tend to gather.
